Tico Wind in Costa Rica at Lake Arenal

Now obviously this doesn´t depend entirely on us, mother nature has to play her part and so do you. However we feel that if we do our part so will you and (here I´m tempting fate) mother nature. Our part is having the best locations and equipment to suit the local conditions and having the service to match it. In choosing Costa Rica lake Arenal in winter and Northern Brazil in summer we based our choice not on how easy it is to reach the center but on the wind statistics. After all, it is no use going somewhere quick and easy just to sit on the beach and dream of wind.
		Now having great wind and great gear is important but so is the service. At a Tico Wind center you won´t be treated like a number, more like a respected old friend. We like to think we leave no stone unturned in the search to make your vacation "one of a lifetime". Want to try a different fin? We´ll change it in a heartbeat. Do you prefer your footstaps further out/in/forward/back? Before you´ve finished putting on a little more sunblock the job´s done.
If you need some help, whether it´s sailing or local knowledge, a member of staff will allways be glad to help you perfect your stance/jibe/jump or to help you find the right restaurant for that relaxing end of the day dinner. If you are one of those widnsrufers who allways wants to improve, then take advantage of a one-on-one lesson with an instructor. At our Arenal and Jericoacoara centers we have video instruction available. It will cut your learning time in half. Just think, you go away for a week, sail every day and when you get home you´ll just smoke your buddies next time you are on the water together!
